CLAIMS FAQ’s

  1. Notice – In the case of a loss you must:
    1. Give us or your agent prompt notice by providing the date, time and place of the loss.
    2. Notify law enforcement in the event the loss is due to criminal behavior.
  2. Cooperation – You must cooperate with us and any other parties needed in settling the claim. This includes allowing us to inspect damaged property and take samples of damage for testing and analysis if necessary.
  3. Other duties
    1. Take reasonable steps to protect your property following a loss.
    2. Keep accurate and separate records of expenses occurred due to the loss. This includes bills, receipts and any documents proving values of items replaced.
    3. Provide the insurance company any legal paperwork related to any claim or suit filed against them.
